The Portes du Soleil area, in addition to being the first Franco-Swiss cross-border area, is also one of the largest ski areas in the world. Between France and Switzerland, the area offers you a majestic panorama and a total change of scenery! Located within the vast expanse of the Portes du Soleil ski region, the Morzine are in a bustling alpine town that is very popular with skiers from all over Europe. As one of the largest ski areas in the world, there are plenty of runs available. 600 km of skiing, 30 Snow parks, boarder-cross and ski-cross and 208 ski lifts are at your disposal to cover the 12 Franco-Swiss resorts in the area .
Even off the slopes, the old town of Morzine has plenty to see and do. Boasting traditional French stone buildings, a riverside promenade and a host of excellent restaurants and bars, the centre is much more vibrant than many of the region’s smaller resort towns.
